Ministries of Celebration Community Church

Celebration Community Church has a wide variety of ministries.  We feel that church is not just attendance, but a community of believers for worship, ministry, fellowship and outreach.  We all have our own spiritual talents, and when we work together as one, we glorify God.  The more involved our people are, it seems the more blessings they receive in the process.

The growth in membership that CCC has experienced for the last several years has been due in great part to the willingness of its members to commit to service in a particular ministry.  Once again, we are asking for your help in the following ministries:

***Worship Participation***-Lay people are involved in our worship services as readers and acolytes.

***
Usher***-Ushers are trained to assist in the comfortable flow of the worship service.   Volunteers are needed at both the 9 and 11 AM worship services.  If you would like to volunteer for this important ministry, please contact the church office.

***Communion***-Volunteers are needed to assist in serving communion, holding the elements, as well as setup up for communion.  If you would be interested in assisting in this very important ministry please contact the church office.

Sunday School-
In our Fellowship Hall during our 11:00 a.m. service, we offer Sunday School for ages 2 through first grade as well as a class for 2nd grade through teens.

Church Ladies-Our “Church Ladies” (men and women) will volunteer to furnish food to our members during a time of need:  for example, upon returning home from the hospital, after losing a loved one, or when homebound due to illness.

Care Group-Volunteers will continue to provide assistance with services such as transportation needs, picking up prescriptions, special needs at home and grocery shopping.

Medical Equipment Ministry-Please help us with this much needed ministry by donating crutches, walkers, canes and wheelchairs to the church for people in need to use free of charge.  Either bring them with you on a Sunday or we can come get them from you.

Choir
-All are welcome. Choir rehearsals are on Thursday Evenings, 7-8:30 pm.

Hand bells-Our Hand bell choir is always interested in new ringers, and practices every other Tuesday at 7pm.

Wednesday Night Cook-Each Wednesday, we gather for dinner prior to Bible Study. Guest chefs prepare our meals. Individuals and groups have cooked for the Wednesday night group, and all have been well received!

Supper Club-Twice a month, Celebration cooks, delivers, and serves dinner to Samaritan House, a housing facility for those with AIDS.

Deacon's Food Pantry-Assistance is sometimes needed in maintaining our Food Pantry for those in need.

Clothing -Volunteer help is needed in sorting and delivering clothes to those in need.

Banners-Our banner team creates the lovely banners that are displayed in our sanctuary.

Sunday Night Social Hosts
-Folks are always needed to help plan, set up, and assist in cleaning up for our Sunday Evening Socials.

Sunday Morning Social Hosts-We offer coffee and pastries each Sunday morning between 10-10:40 am. Hosts are needed to greet our guests.

Office Angels We are in need of “earthly” angels to assist in the church office before and after each of the morning worship services by answering the phone, taking messages, etc.    If you would be interested, please write “Angel”  by your name in the red attendance pad, and you will be contacted concerning training for this important ministry.

E Mail Devotional Ministry-Writers are needed for our daily devotionals. Please contact us at the church, or e-mail your devotionals to CelebCh@aol.com.
