Capital
Campaign

It took 38 people with the commitment to rent this facility
that makes us Celebration Community Church! It will take the
commitment of all us to continue the dream of making our
church the facility for all of our community. The Rev.
Carol A. West Community Center Capital Campaign has begun.
The Capital Campaign Committee is hosting several lunch
events to discuss the campaign and ask for your financial
commitment to enable Celebration Community Church to be a
larger presence in the community. If you have received
an invitation for one of our Sunday luncheons, please call
Charla at 817.335.3222 to confirm.
Barron House...
Counseling services are
available at the Barron House Counseling Center.
Should you desire these services, please call
817-335-3222, extension 105. Barron House has
independent counselors and appointments are
available weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. Fees
are based on a sliding scale.
Do you Sign?
Celebration Community Church is truly blessed to
provide a place for all people to worship. Because
of our growth, we are in search of someone to “sign”
the 11 am worship service each Sunday. If you know
sign language or know of someone who would love to
interpret for those in the congregation that cannot
hear, please call the church office at 817.335.3222.
As our church grows, the ministries grow along as
well. Please prayerfully consider this outreach for
others.

Be
sure to join us on Sunday, June 23rd at 5 pm for Classic
Movie Night. Michael Tatum and Gary Cunningham are the
perfect hosts. This month’s movie is
How To Marry A Millionaire starring Lauren Bacall, Marilyn
Monroe and Betty Grable. This was the first Hollywood comedy
to be lensed in Cinemascope. We hope to see you there!
Garage
Sale
June 21st & 22nd
Celebration Community Church has a long history of staging
blockbuster garage sales. And guess what? It’s time for our
next sale! It will be Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June
22nd, from 8 am until ??? in the parking lot next to the
Fellowship Hall. So, please look in your garage, attic,
closets and storage shed to see what items are taking up
space that you no longer need. We would appreciate having
those items so we can sell them to earn funds for our church
activities. We need: Clothing, furniture and appliances,
electronics, household items, yard and garden items, books,
records, cds and DVDs. Please make sure items are in good
working order and clean so we can sell, sell, sell! You may
bring your donated items to the Fellowship Hall on Sunday,
June 16th or anytime during regular office hours (9 am to 4
pm) the week of June 17th through June 20th. In addition,
during the days of sale, we will need volunteers to help us
sort, price and display merchandise. If you would like to
help with this, please write “sale” in the Redbook as it is
passed.
Lunch
To Go
Why
not try something different this summer for lunch? Join us
for “Lunch to Go” on the last Sunday of June, July and
August. For only $7 per person, you can pick up a
pre packaged lunch “to go” or join us in the Fellowship Hall
and have lunch with your friends here. All you need to do is
write “To Go” in the Redbook as it is passed and on Sunday,
June 30th, you will have a great lunch without all the rush
in trying to get to a restaurant before the crowds. Plus, it
is only $7 per person. When was the last time you were able
to have a great lunch for under $15 on a Sunday? You can
pre pay at the church office before June 30th so all you
have to do is pick up your lunch. We look forward to seeing
you on the 30th for church and lunch!
Cats

least 20 people to attend. The deadline to sign up and pay
is Wednesday, June 12th. You will be able to pick up your
tickets on Sunday, June 23rd, after worship services in the
Fireside Room. We had a great time last year and we look
forward to another one this year. Please write “CATS” in the
Redbook as it is passed if you want to be there.

Join Our New Ministry
July20
We
hope you had a chance to think about joining our new
ministry at the Stayton Rehabilitation Center beginning
Saturday, July 20th at 10:00 am, and continuing on each 3rd
Saturday of the month to help those who may have had a
stroke or are recovering their strength
from an accident or illness while they play Bingo. The
residents need one on one help to make sure they get all the
correct numbers. We will meet at the Stayton and join
up on the rehabilitation floor with their Activities
Coordinator. Our first visit will include a tour of the
facilities. Please sign up by writing “Stayton” in the
redbook if you are interested in this very important
ministry.
It's A
Mystery
July 27
Our second Murder Mystery Dinner date has changed and will
now be on Saturday, July 27th, from 6 pm until 9 pm. Don’t
forget to dress up in the “Roaring 20s” style to help set
the stage! Why not come as a “flapper girl”? Or you can come
dressed as a gangster like Al Capone? Whatever you decide to
wear, this is bound to be a ripping good time. Tickets are
$20 per person and sign up and deadline for final payment is
Sunday, July 21st. If you would like to be a part of the
“Roaring 20s Murder Mystery”, please write “mystery” in the
